“ Very ono! Very reasonable prices and great selections. You can eat it there and walk to Waimanalo Beach or go there after the beach. Super convenient. ”
“ We got the steak & shrimp and also kalbi & shrimp plates. While the steak was good, the kalbi was amazing! It was so juicy and tender. All of us will get the kalbi next time! The shrimp is also large and crunchy/not over cooked. Price was great too, where can I get a steak/shrimp plate for $12?! It's a simple establishment -- nothing fancy but has great food. ”
“ Found this gem while exploring around Waimānalo Beach. I ordered the beef and garlic shrimp plate and the mango fish taco. I would recommend ordering and bringing your food to the beach to enjoy the food and the beautiful beach. I love Waimanalo Beach for its turquoise water and white sand. (From Ono to waimanalo beach is around 1 mile.) ”
“ Overall the food here is really good and workers friendly. The only things I wish was different was the fried chicken was boneless, which is ok but not my favorite. At least the menu should say boneless so customers know before ordering. Also, I wanted the garlic shrimp but asked the cashier if the shrimp was deveined and she said no. So, I didn't order it. Then my friend ordered it, and could see, yes, the shrimp are deveined and tasted amazing. Arrgh! People, when you see the shrimp with a cut along the top side of the shrimp and no black thing, it's DEVEINED! Oh well, will have to go back one day but I am on the other side of the island. ”
“ In Hawaiian, "ono" means delicious, and they weren't kidding! It was coconut shrimp for my wife and a fried chicken plate for me, 100% local style, absolutely amazing! Nothing fancy, in fact, it's a shack add-on to what looks like an old food truck. No worries--rustic but tidy. Add to that friendly service with a smile which made the whole experience great! ”
